Paul and Laurie's Wedding

Just two weeks after our own wedding we got the chance to see Luke's Aunt Laurie marry her (now) husband Mark.


Their ceremony was very intimate-in their backyard with about 30 people present.

They had been preparing their garden for the wedding, with lots of help from family and friends. It looked beatiful!


The ceremony had both Buddhist and Native American blessings.



We were so glad to be part of the small group to witness their marriage, and to spend some time with Luke's/our family. Ok, so we were also glad to not be the ones at the center of attention!

We'll have to see at the next wedding of the Halvorsen clan, which will be these two in October!
