Our very own Christmas tree

Yesterday Jamie and I got a real, live Christmas tree. It was the first time I have had a tree in the city, so it was exciting for me! Of course, we did get it at Home Depot and not at a tree farm, but that's okay.

Luke had volunteered to be our Christmas tree, but we just weren't sure that would work too well...



So on to Home Depot. We tried out this tree, but he wasn't our favorite:


We felt really bad for this guy:



But this was the winner. And Jamie standing in line with it. I thought it seemed really funny to stand in a check-out line with a tree...




And here is the nice guy who wrapped it up for us. Now that we BOTH have blogs, we've gotten pretty nerdy about taking pictures of whatever we do...and he caught me...



Finally, we got it tied to the car. I wasn't sure about how long it was going to stay on there, but we made it the mile up the road back to our apartment.
