The other day I had some things to say about the news. Unfortunately, I was unable to come up with anything that was intelligent and cohesive, and frankly, I worry that when I comment on current events I'll get myself in over my head, and say something inaccurate or ignorant. And while I don't intend for my blog to be political, I can't help but share what I am thinking right now, however unintelligible and uninformed:

1) Bush. You amaze me. Stubbornly pushing forward when the public doesn't want to, Congress is against you, and your own party advises you not to? Wow...
You seem to be out of touch with (and defiant of) Congress even in even your more minor decisions. I'd like to suggest that there is a division of power for a reason.


2) Nancy Pelosi, good job. I don't know much about foreign policy, that's for sure, but when has a little diplomacy hurt anyone? If nothing else, you are showing the public that you are willing to stand up to the White House.
