Goodbye, Saab!

A few years ago, Luke's dad and step-mother gave Luke a car. A cool car.

He loved the car, and we both enjoyed it for a few years.

Last winter though, it didn't start.

Luke let it sit, until spring (street cleaning), when he bought a new battery. It ran beautifully (for the most part) through the spring, summer and into the fall.

Then, one cold day in October, it stopped running.

And it didn't run again until about three weeks ago, when street cleaning forced us to charge it up again (thanks, Dave!). It ran long enough for us to move it, but when the keys came out of the ignition, the battery died again.

The next Saturday, we jumped it again, and drove it straight to CarMax.

And then we said goodbye.

We'll miss the Saab. I love my car, but it's roughly a million times less sporty.

Sad to see it go, and I can tell by the looks on your faces you feel the same...

I am sure that it will find itself in a good, new home.

It's so hard to say good-bye to a good car. :(

Sorry about your car. Letting go is the pits.
