Greetings from Milwaukee!

Hauna and I got back from Milwaukee a little over a week ago now.

Here are some of the highlights of our trip:
We're pretty sure they were also headed to Milwaukee

Lunch at the German beer hall: a brat, a pretzel and of course, a beer.

Our cute room at the bed and breakfast

A short walk by the lake, and a view of the Milwaukee Art Museum

My raspberry weiss (mmm) with dinner at the
Water Street Brewery, where we sampled Scotch Egg.

It was new to both of us-a hard-boiled egg
wrapped in sausage and fried.

Tuesday morning trip to the MAM

Coffee and a cookie at a pump house-turned-coffee shop. Very cool.

Sign in the parking lot at the Miller brewery. Interesting.

A HUGE brewkettle on the Miller brewery tour

How beer is made

More beer! Free this time!

At the Miller Inn

Hauna and Frederick Miller

Hauna (the spy) at the Safehouse, which we highly recommend,
but ask the locals to show you around, they know all the tricks!

CIA: Crafy Instant Alibis

Breakfast: banana bread and apple cinnamon pancakes one morning,
raisin bran muffins and spinach and cheese omelette the next!

On our way out of town we hit up a local favorite: Kopp's custard.
Chocolate almond and mint chocolate chip custard.

Our second to last stop of the trip (we
had to hit the outlets while we were up there),
the Mars Cheese Castle

I think I speak for both of us when I say that it was a great time, and we have a newfound appreciation for the fine city of Milwaukee!

my favorite picture is the 'artsy' one you did at the coffee shop of hauna reading. very neat perspective.

And way cute bed and breakfast.

Who knew milwaukee could be so fun?
