Oh, so far back...I'm so far behind with my blog posts. There are just so many fun things to do in the summer, and they leave so little time to blog about them!

So here we are, back at Memorial Day Weekend. Bellah had her first real road trip when we traveled to Sioux Falls to see Luke's family and to attend the baptism of Hannah Jean, the daughter of our friends Nick and Beth.

You'll have to take my word for it, but
she wasn't enjoying it as much as it looks like she was.

We got there on Friday night, and we spent Saturday morning with Luke's dad and his sisters. Then we went back to Kathy's and grilled some delicious kebabs for lunch.

That night was the baptism, and the celebration that followed.

Emily running to greet us at the party (ok, so our carrying
a birthday gift for her probably added to her enthusiasm slightly)

On our last night in Sioux Falls, Luke showed off his Eagle Scout skills and built us a great fire in Kathy's fire pit.

Later, we were joined by Luke's cousins Lauren and Danielle, and their cousin. We also did some fun tricks with the camera.

A great way to start our summer!
