The Kitten

Another big event in our summer was bringing home this punk of a kitten:

We named her Rita, but she also goes by Rits, Rita-Skeet, Skeeta and others.

The first few weeks were pretty rough, with Bellah trying to adjust to a new little animal in the apartment.
We had to keep Rita in the bathroom for a long time, and she paid us back.
Just when I was almost convinced we'd have to bring Rita back, because Bellah would never get along with her, they started to get used to each other.

Oh, and Rita only has three legs. She still manages to use the stratching post just fine though, and holds her own in wrestling matches with Bellah.
I know it's excessive to post this many pictures of a kitten, but just bear with me...
