This weekend my mom came in to town, and my mother-in-law, Kathy, joined us on Saturday. They were here to celebrate my graduation from nursing school!

We had a great time celebrating graduation and Mother's Day, and having a little bit of time to relax in between celebrations.

My mom got in on Thursday night, and we picked Luke up from work on our way back from the airport (after an extensive tour of the Financial District while we waited for Luke to finish up).

We spent most of Friday running errands, and then getting ready for my Pinning Ceremony (a nursing tradition).

Kathy got here just in time for the pinning.

After the ceremony, we headed to Giordano's for some Chicago-style pizza before driving down to the baccalaureate at the beautiful Fourth Presbyterian Church.

Finally, we headed to a brand new bar, Fountainhead, to celebrate Luke's coworker Abel's birthday.

On Saturday, my mom and ran in the neighborhood before we all got ready for graduation.

Anne was able to come to see me graduate!

After graduation, we headed back to our apartment for lunch, and Luke put on a cello recital for us.

That night we headed out to The Grafton for dinner, before stopping by Mar's graduation party. That's right, we went bar-hopping with The Moms (well, sort of).

On Sunday, we made stuffed strawberry French toast for our moms before we went to church. Kathy headed back to Sioux Falls after lunch, and we relaxed--playing games, watching TV. My mom left this morning, and is already home safely.

And I have my Bachelor of Science with a Major in Nursing! All that stands between me and a job (besides an actual job opening that I am qualified for) is the NCLEX exam!
